This is a commonly used 5mm pointed tip for soldering. It is generally used for Through Hole components. However, being a pointed tip, it can also be used for soldering larger footprint components in Surface Mount Devices such as 1206 packages or other DPAK footprints also.

It is a replacement  tip for the commonly used 5W, 8W, 12W and 25W soldering rods. The tip can be used to solder electrical wires also.

It is also nickel plated making it stable in terms of heating. It is quite stable with very low drifting even in the cold ambient temperature also

Glue Guns are used in everyday life projects where you want to fix electronics components fixing, woodworking, recreational décor, Shipment and packaging etc. Glue gun are a portable devices that utilizes and dispense hot melted adhesives in shape of tubular sticks. The heat generated from the heating element melts the adhesive and let it flow to the nozzle by pulling the trigger.
